L.egislation

We believe your voice establishes righteousness in our land. Imagine what one million voices in legislation can do!

What can you do to make a difference in legislation?

1. Register to vote. If you don’t vote, you don’t have a voice!

2. Educate yourself:

3. Take Action:

  • Send a written and signed note. Research has proven that the most effective way to change a policymaker’s opinion is a written and signed note from a constituent from their district. Find current legislation and an easy way to send a note here: https://millionvoices.org/

  • Run for office! Many local representatives run unopposed, and local is where it’s at! These elections are a great place for women to step into. It’s the hour of Deborahs and now is the time for strong Christian female leadership to take its place at the table!

  • Start a Community Impact Team in your church. This is a team of at least 3-6 members and operates under the authority of the pastor and serves as a command center for the church's efforts to engage the culture. The problems we face in our communities and our nation are not just political and cultural, they are spiritual in nature (Eph. 6:10-13).

4. Pray and fast! Without prayer, we don’t have a chance to change the nation. Download prayer guides specific to elected officials, leaders, and those in authority. You can even send them a message through this resource to let them know you’re praying for them: https://truthandliberty.net/prayer-guides/

5. Are you a member of a Prayer HUB?

Lasting change in legislation comes when we find each other, make our voices heard, and most importantly, pray together! Our goal is to mobilize one million women into prayer to change a nation. Your prayers matter!

“Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT
